Modern Literature & Culture Research Centre & Gallery

With a BA in Psychology (2018-2023) and minor in English from Toronto Metropolitan University, Brenda Aleman explores the relation of cultural and social systems on individual experiences. At the MLC Research Centre, she assists the director and the team with arts and research administration, while also supporting the MLC archive. With her interests in the power of literature as a means of resilience in the face of trauman, Brenda's long-term goals include working in research and using an interdisciplinary approach to mental health.
