Cat Chirvase joins MLC

Cat Chirvase is a BA Fashion student pursuing a concentration in Fashion Studies at Toronto Metropolitan University. Passionate about the anthropological role of material artefacts, she is interested in researching the intersections of fashion, history and culture in relation to individual and collective identities. At the MLC, Cat is thrilled about gaining knowledge of archives and preservation as well as uncovering the under-recognized work of women in the war effort through the Repatriating Canadian War Quilts project. Cat hopes to pursue graduate work in cultural studies and work in research.
