Modern Literature & Culture Research Centre & Gallery

Gaurangi Batish is a Bachelor in Fashion student specializing in Fashion Communication at Toronto Metropolitan University (2021-2025). In her research and creative projects, she is passionate about exploring fashion through a decolonial perspective and amplifying the narratives of women of color. At the MLC, she aspires to articulate the centre’s core values and vision through her contributions to the centre’s social media platforms. Her goal is to cultivate a vibrant online community that connects artists, with a special emphasis on women, to enhance collaboration within the Centre’s network not only locally but internationally.
