Henry Gomes is a 2014 graduate of Ryerson University’s Arts and Contemporary Studies undergraduate program, majoring in English with a minor in Public Administration. Henry recently completed a work term with the Canadian federal government, working for Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Henry’s research interests include exploring the effects of a globalized community on modern urban life, and studying the rhetorical tools used in sports media and journalism. At the MLC, Henry hopes to develop skills related to archiving, collections management, and artifact preservation in preparation for future plans to enroll in the Master of Museum Studies program at the University of Toronto.
