Modern Literature & Culture Research Centre & Gallery

Lina Tupak-Karim is an MA student in the Literatures of Modernity program (2024–25) at Toronto Metropolitan University. She holds a 2024 BA from the University of Toronto Mississauga, with a double major in Professional Writing and Communication and Sociology. Her research interests include Latin American and German literature, the sociological theory of objects and emotions, and automobile psychology. Her Major Research Paper, supervised by Irene Gammel, explores authorship as a mode of resisting or coping with technological replacement anxiety.
