Congratulations to Paul Crisostimo, Rachel Frohlich, Petronela Serb, Rachel Verhaeghe, and Kayla Webster, who graduated with their Master of Arts on Wednesday, October 21. It was a true pleasure to supervise their final projects, theses, and practica and I proudly watched them cross the stage in their black gowns with newly adorned colour hoods. This was the first year for our Literatures of Modernity Graduate Program with a total of thirteen graduates in addition to thirty-two graduates in our Communication and Culture MA and PhD Program. Graduation day was a picture perfect fall day with yellow and burgundy leaves covering the Ryerson building as the students gathered for pictures in “The Quad,” the Ryerson University courtyard enclosed by Kerr Hall Entrances.
