Thank you to all who came out to our opening reception of Re-Locating the Canadian North on October 18, 2018. This exhibition is a three-way collaboration and I thank my awesome co-curators: Emily Pleasance, who talked about the national myth of the Canadian North, and William Huffman of Dorset Fine Arts, who discussed contemporary Inuit art as a mode of survival. I also thank Dr. Esther Berry for officiating at the event. The photos were taken by Cameron MacDonald, MLC Coordinator and curatorial assistant, and Dr. Jean-Paul Boudreau, President and Vice-Chancellor at Mount Allison University. Thank you all!
