Catherine Russell

Catherine is a proud MLC Alumna and no longer with the Centre.

Catherine Russell provides research administration support at the Modern Literature and Culture Research Centre, working closely with the Director, Dr. Irene Gammel, to implement the Canada Research Chair's mandate and facilitate smooth operations at the Centre. She holds an MA in art history from the University of Glasgow, where she completed her Master's course on the topic of twentieth century avant-gardes. She also holds a BA in History of Art from the University of Glasgow, and a diploma in Art and Design from the University of Ulster's Foundation Program. Catherine has previously worked in the National Galleries of Scotland in Edinburgh and the Centre for Contemporary Art in Glasgow as a front of house team member.
