Cigdem Asatekin MacInnis holds an MFA in Art Writing from the School of Visual Arts, New York (2017), an MBA in Arts Management from Bahcesehir University (2012), and a BFA in Painting from Anadolu University (2010). Before relocating to Toronto, she gained experience in working in contemporary art fields in Istanbul and in New York, including SarahCrown gallery specializing in postwar and contemporary art. At MLC, she is excited to be involved in arts and research administration, as well as supporting the centre’s exhibitions and events.
