Emma Renda
Emma is a proud MLC Alumna and no longer with the Centre.
Emma Renda holds an MA in Literatures of Modernity (Ryerson, 2013), and a BA in Journalism with a concentration in English literature (Carleton University, 2012). Emma joined the Modern Literature and Culture Research Centre (July — December 2013), where she was able to hone her digital culture and research mobilization skills. Her primary research interests are contemporary literary and cultural representations of memory, particularly the formation of collective identity through cultural memory. She also interned at Quill and Quire in Toronto, where she analyzed gender trends in publishing and reviewing practice in Canada.
