With an MA in Digital Communication and Culture from the University of Sydney (2018), Yifan Kong is currently an MA student in Ryerson’s Digital Media program (2021-2022). As a researcher, she is passionate about communication, culture, and digital media. Under the supervision of Dr. Irene Gammel, she is embarked on a digital research creation project, exploring the concept of the portable museum in connection with heritage. As an MLC Fellow, she is thrilled to be engaged in activities that align with the Centre's mandate such as the SSHRC Storyteller initiative contributing to heritage-focused projects like Operation Canada.
