MLC Seminar: Writing the Marvelous: Surrealist Automatism and Collaboration

Thank you to Mark Silverberg and our participants and partners for a marvelous Surrealist Writing Workshop on October 13. Thank you to the MLC team for organizing this event. 

This hands-on, creative seminar explores the techniques and theories of surrealist writing and offers participants a workshop environment to test them out. No background or expertise is required. Seminar participants from last year’s “Exquisite Corpse and Other Games: Collaborative Writing in the Surrealist Tradition” are welcome to expand their knowledge and practice, and new participants are also welcome.

Seminar leader Mark Silverberg is an Associate Professor of English at Cape Breton University and a Research Associate at the MLC and editor of New York School Collaborations: The Color of Vowels.
